This Privacy Policy explains how Optimal ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address when you create an account.
• Queries and verdicts: The questions you ask and the AI-generated verdicts returned to you.
• Usage data: A count of how many verdicts you've used each month to enforce plan limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Optimal service.
• To generate AI verdicts in response to your questions.
• To track your monthly usage and enforce free plan limits.
• To sync your verdict history and saved stack across devices.

3. Third-Party Services

Optimal uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase – Authentication, database storage, and serverless functions. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Anthropic – AI processing of your queries to generate verdicts. Your query text is sent to Anthropic's API to produce a response. Anthropic does not use your queries to train its models by default. Anthropic Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. We use row-level security to ensure your data is only accessible to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties beyond those listed above.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and verdict history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app, which will permanently remove all of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Optimal is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings → Delete Account in the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
